Create a Morning Routine

Morning Rutine

Many people maximize on that early energy by creating morning routines to help them sharpen the saw and propel them forward. These routines often include elements such as exercise, intense learning, journaling, scripture study, planning, gratitude, and so on. Even if time is limited, establishing a morning routine that incorporates your most important personal aspirations will add up and, over time, and you will find you have made significant progress in the direction of your goals.

Researchers at the University of Nottingham and the National Institute of Education in Singapore reviewed 83 different studies on self-control and found that most people have better self-control and greater willpower just after waking up. Self-control, and the ability to get work done slowly depletes during the day as both psychological and physiological fatigue sets in.

Knowing that willpower is best in the morning makes it even more important to accomplish our most important goals or tackle our most challenging projects before noon.
