Marvin J Ashton said, “Proper money management and living within one’s means are essential in today’s world if we are to live abundantly and happily.”
As members of the BYU community, we have access to a variety of resources to assist us in becoming good stewards over our financial resources.
DMBA Financial Consultation
DMBA offers free online financial consultations to help with almost any financial situation including building emergency savings, creating spending plans or budgets, managing debt, understanding insurance protection, getting started with estate planning and investment management, and preparing for pre-retirement goals. To access this resource just call 1-800-777-3622 ext 5627, email finplanning@dmba.com, or go online to schedule an appointment. Meeting with a financial planner doesn’t have to be a one-time consultation. DMBA financial planners are happy to follow up and work with individuals until they have learned the appropriate skills and are moving forward on their own. There is also no limit set on the number of times one can contact a planner.
TIAA Financial Consultation
If you have a TIAA account or are interested in exploring retirement options available through TIAA, you may meet with a TIAA financial consultant. To make an appointment just call 1-800-732-8353 or click here to make an appointment. You may also click here for additional information about TIAA’s retirement plans and live financial webinars.
