WEIGHT ROOMS | FITNESS FACILITIES

There are three different fitness facilities on campus available to faculty, staff and students. The current hours for these facilities are Monday - Saturday 6:00am - 9:45pm. Wristbands, acquired at 112 RB, are required for use of all fitness facilities.

Below is a list of the facilities along with links to learn general information regarding location and who is eligible to use them.

Faculty/Staff Weight Room (124 SFH)

This room, available to fully-benefitted faculty, staff, admin, and retirees has a selection of both strength and cardio equipment.

Student Fitness Center (293A SFH)

This room, available to students, faculty, staff, retirees, spouses, and dependents (16+ years old), offers almost 6000 square feet of cardio, selectorized, and free-weight equipment. There are coin-operated lockers down the hall for $0.50. In addition to your wristband, you will also need to check in with your BYU ID.

Women's Fitness Center (Women's Locker Room, RB)

This room, available to female students, faculty, staff, retirees, spouses, and dependents (16+ years old), hidden in the privacy of the women's locker room, has a row of cardio equipment, free weights and a large mat.

DRESS CODE

The dress code policy is in line with BYU’s Honor Code. You are responsible for coming to BYU fitness facilities in proper attire. If the facilities’ staff notice any violation of the dress code, they will ask you to change or leave the facility. BYU athletes are permitted to wear team-issued gear for team practices and workouts. Click here for more details.

  • Tops MUST cover shoulders, stomach, and back
  • Shorts MUST come to mid-thigh or below
  • No cut-off shirts, jeans, boots, or open-toed shoes
