Anti-Inflammatory Recipes

Inflammation is your body’s way of protecting itself from invaders. When there is an injury or infection, your body will increase blood flow to the area causing redness and swelling. There are many diseases that can sprout from inflammation such as heart disease, diabetes, depression, and Alzheimer’s. Something you can do to reduce these symptoms is eat anti-inflammatory foods. Tomatoes, olive oil, green leafy vegetables, nuts, fatty fish, and fruits are foods that should be included in an anti-inflammatory diet.
