Basic Granola Recipe
3 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds 1/2 cup sesame seeds 1/2 cup sliced almonds 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1 cup coconut flakes 1/2 cut honey | 1/2 cup canola oil 1 tpsp vanilla 1 tbsp cinnamon 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup craisins 1/2 cup dried cherries |
Instructions
- First mix the dry ingredients. Feel free to mix and match which dry ingredients you use to get 6 cups.
- Next, whisk together the wet ingredients of your choice and add seasonings.
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, then spread your granola mixture out in an even layer.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 40-45 minutes, gently stirring every 15 minutes, until the granola is golden brown and mostly dry.
- Remove from oven and stir the fruit into the hot granola.
- Let the whole thing cool completely before digging in. Feel free to adapt the recipe to suit your taste preferences.
