What does lifelong learning mean to you?

See how BYU employees like you answered this question.

Lifelong learning is such a joyful outcome of being part of the BYU experience! I so enjoy embracing opportunities to learn in my every day life. This includes downloading a plant identification app to help me identify the beautiful flower in my neighbor's yard, listening to BYU devotionals and forums while I exercise, and discovering the history and culture of new places. This spring, my husband and I visited Scotland and thoroughly enjoyed touring castles and battlefields, learning about Scottish history. Lifelong learning is so much fun!

Brooke Robertson, Integrity and Compliance Office

I am a girl who loves to learn! Learner is one of my top 10 strengths in the Gallup Strengthsfinder 2.0 assessment and learning brings me joy. I love to learn in a variety of ways such as reading, completing LinkedIn learning courses and watching LitVideobooks. I love attending the professional development courses that BYU offers. This year I took a class on getting things done and another class on change. They were amazing and they both gave me tools to use in my everyday life. I also like to challenge myself to earn certifications. In the last few years, I have earned my Strengths Coaching Certificate through Gallup and my UX Design Certificate through Google. I am deeply grateful for every opportunity that I have to learn!
