Christmas Service Activity

Thursday, December 12
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

WSC 3280/3290

For active faculty, staff, administrators, and their families

About

This Christmas season, we are thrilled to partner with Family Haven and LDS Transitional Services to bring joy and support to those in need. Join us for a meaningful service activity on December 12th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, where employees will come together to build advocacy pinwheels, make blankets, write uplifting holiday cards, and assemble hygiene kits! More details will be shared soon.

Register

Register to let us know you plan to attend at some point during this 3-hour service activity. We want to make sure we have enough seating and refreshments for those who want to attend.

If you want to bring your student employees with you, please make sure they get registered and that they know they MUST be clocked in to participate. This is due to campus policies around activities scheduled on Reading Days. Non-student employees do not need to be clocked in to attend.

Item Drive for Hygiene Kits

To prepare for this event, we are hosting a donation drive for hygiene items, which will be used in assembling the kits.

Item List

Below is the list of items we are collecting in this drive. All items must be SMALL or TRAVEL-SIZED, similar to what you would find in a hotel.

  • Body lotion
  • Comb
  • Deodorant
  • Disposable razor
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Hand soap
  • Pocket-sized Kleenex
  • Shampoo
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Wash cloth

Department List

Departments across campus are invited to sign up below to receive a donation box, where employees can conveniently drop off items. Each box will include a list of requested supplies. Department sign-ups closed on November 18th.

If your department doesn't have a collection box, you can still donate! Bring your items to any of the following locations.
