Avocado Toast

We love avocado toast for breakfast. Not only because it tastes amazing but also because there are so many different ways to make it. Below are just a few of our favorites:

Basic avocado toast
This is pretty simple. Just toast your bread and top it with either mashed or sliced avocado and a pinch of sea salt.

Egg style avocado toast
To your basic avocado toast, cook any style of egg (hard boiled and sliced, scrambled, poached, or fried) and
put it on top of your avocado. Then add sliced tomatoes and everything bagel seasoning to the top. A different
version could be to mix in some hot sauce with your mashed avocados before spreading it on your toast, then
add a fried or poached egg and cover it with salsa.

Avocado toast with hummus, spouts and seeds
To the base of your toast add a layer of hummus. Add to it some sliced avocados. Then top it off with some alfalfa sprouts and pumpkin seeds. You could also add some hemp seeds and a squeeze of lime.

Salmon and dill avocado toast
To your basic avocado toast, add smoked salmon with sliced cucumbers and chives or dill

Berries and avocado toast
To your basic avocado toast add sliced strawberries (or any type of berry including craisins or dried cherries).
You could also sprinkle on some sunflower seeds and add a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Tomato and avocado toast
To your basic avocado toast add sliced tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzarella cheese.

Mexican avocado toast
To your basic avocado toast add some black beans, salsa, and shredded Monterey jack cheese.

Don’t be afraid to get creative. You can mix and match toppings to create either a sweet or savory meal.
