Activity Overview
Crossnet is a 4-way volleyball game and the perfect group game for all occasions. The perfect blend of four square and volleyball, it’s an essential activity for team activities, and department retreats!
Activity Instructions
- The game starts with the 4th square diagonally serving to the 2nd
- The 2nd returns the ball with one hit to any square and the rally begins. Each player may use only one hit to get the ball into another player's square. If a ball lands outside the playing area, or if the ball is hit twice before the ball enters a new player's square, the last player to touch the ball is eliminated.
- When the ball lands in a player’s square, that player is eliminated and the player in the 4th square scores a point. All players in squares preceding the eliminated player's spot will rotate to fill the empty square and the first person in line (which can be the one who was just eliminated if playing with only 4 players) will fill the 1st square. For example, if the person in the 4th square is eliminated, all players will rotate one square. If the player in the 2nd spot is eliminated, only the player in the 1st square will rotate into the 2nd square.
- Game to 11, Win by 2

Suggested Use
