Put Your Energy into Habits

"New goals don't deliver new results. New lifestyles do. And a lifestyle is a process, not an outcome. For this reason, your energy should go into building better habits, not chasing better results."

I really like this quote from James Clear, author of Atomic Habits:

This resonates because it really is easy to focus too much on the results we want, whether it is in the professional or personal part of our lives. Also, as we learn in the Influencer workshop, our behaviors are what lead us to our desired results. This is a great thing to keep in mind because forming new habits requires a long-term approach. It’s natural to want the quick fix, but real and lasting change comes from putting energy towards doing small things, consistently, over time.
