Inherent in the BYU mission is the acknowledgement that each person is a son or daughter of God with infinite worth and divine potential. Because of this understanding, we seek to create a culture of belonging where each person is valued and given opportunities to learn and grow and become their best self.

Ideas for Implementation
- Strive to see others as God sees them and treat everyone you meet with respect
- Develop leadership skills that bring out the best qualities in others and allow them to contribute using their unique skills and expertise like Multipliers or Influencer
- Build unity and a sense of belonging through team activities, brainstorming, collaboration, cross-training, and group projects
- Be more transparent about decisions and really listen to feedback and suggestions given
- Provide constructive feedback in a respectful way, and in an effort to bless lives, improve work, and create a healthy culture as taught in Crucial Conversations
- Become trained on overcoming Unconscious Bias and develop an appreciation for diversity and people with skills and attributes that are different than your own
- Be tuned in to what is bringing stress, creating a hostile work environment, or hindering people's ability to thrive and take action to change those things
- Help promote a healthy work/life balance for employees
- Create the conditions that support employee health and wellbeing
