Inviting the Spirit

Inviting the spirit creates a culture where we are able to receive inspiration to more effectively accomplish the mission of the university. President Nelson said the privilege of receiving revelation is one of the greatest gifts God has given to His children. President Nelson has also encouraged us to take the necessary steps to hear the Lord better and more often so we can receive the enlightenment He wants to give us. (1/2021)

Ideas for implementation:

• Attend devotionals and encourage others to do the same
• Start meetings with prayer and seek inspiration in the planning and carrying out our responsibilities
• Work to develop Christlike attributes such as humility, patience, and so on
• Live the honor code and encourage others to do the same
• Align personal and department goals to the mission and aims of the university
• Advance faith-based teaching and learning
