Developing Students
As faculty and staff of BYU we support the aims of a BYU education for students within our sphere of influence. Regardless of our role, we have opportunities help students grow in spirituality, intellect, and character and in their desire for life-long learning and service.
.
Ideas for implementation:
- Provide mentoring to student employees
- Create more high-level internships, jobs, and inspiring learning opportunities for students
- Invite students to team up on real projects by coordinating with professors who teach in areas with relevance to the project requirements
- Sponsor a Q&A or lecture series for students on your department's area of expertise
- Provide an opportunity for students to work alongside employees for an hour
- Encourage employees to become part of BYU Bridge or the BYU Handshake for students.
